Pike Creek Turf Farm

LCCC GCO students made their annual excursion to Pike Creek Turf, Inc in Adel, Georgia, on Monday, April 5, 2010. Students were exposed to fourteen different warm-season grasses planted on over 2500 acres. Current selections in production include Fumigated, Georgia certified Tifway, TifDwarf, TifSport, TifEagle, TifGrand, and Miniverde bermudagrass as well as Sea Isle 1, Sea Isle 2000, Sea Isle Supreme, SeaDwarf, and Platinum TE paspalumgrass.
